Bee hives between native “Espino” trees.
Santa Rosa has several products. Most we make them only for family consumption, we hope to make more available soon!
- Prunes.
- Dried tomatoes.
- Peaches.
- Honey. We collect our honey from an endangered native forest, which includes tree species as Boldo, Espino, Quillay, Peumo, Patagua and others. Though we have different species of trees in our native forest (not only Quillay), you can read more about Chilean honey types at https://www.thisischile.cl/more-than-just-honey-exploring-chiles-secret-world-of-bees/?lang=en
- Sea Salt with Maqui. Sea Salt from the ancient Cáhuil marshes, we blend it with wild Maqui tree fruit, which gives it a peculiar purple color. More information of Cáhuil at https://web.archive.org/web/20071112083908/http://www.puc.cl/arquitectura/patrimonio/html/artic_008_a.html
- Quince jelly. A traditional Chilean dessert, made with only quinces and sugar.
- Canned figs. A delicious old recipe.
- Wild cherries juice concentrate. A refreshing juice, mix with about five parts of water and serve cold.
